1-2-1 Adult Dog Training
Platinum's Adult Dog Training classes are suitable for all breeds and all ages.
My classes concentrate on practical dog training focusing on the key commands so that you have a confident dog who is well-behaved on walks and in your home.
All Platinum, training takes place in and around Bushey. In addition, I train your dog in selected outside areas that will best enhance the type of training we are focussing on and enable the dog to be trained in a natural environment where it would ordinarily be walked.
All commands taught and enforced will be clearly demonstrated and explained to the owner to ensure continual and consistent training. Consistency is vital in teaching the dog faster.
I choose to hold the classes outdoors instead of inside as many dogs are fantastic in a hall with no distractions, but as soon as they are outside enjoying the smells and sounds, they soon forget their training and commands.
The aim is to teach your dog to follow simple commands using both verbal commands, audible sounds and hand signals. Whilst I do not teach strict obedience dog training, I will teach you and your dog the practical skills and commands to have a well-trained dog.
What your dog will learn in a 1-2-1 Training Session
The main commands I will teach at the classes are:
Recall
Walking Nicely On Lead
Leave
Sit and Stay
Stop
Not Jumping Up
These commands cover the majority of practical uses of dog training; for example, you can use a sit and stay command if your dog jumps up on people or a leave command if your dog steals food.
Charges
One-to-Dog Training:
- 60 minutes £50
- 120 minutes £90
Dog Walking Plus (exercise and command training):
- 15 to 30 minutes £20
- 60 minutes £25
Dog Walking (exercise only, no command training):
- 15 to 30 minutes: £15
- 60 minutes £20
Please Note
- We do not multi-handle dogs and all the above is on a one-to-one basis.
- The above training relates to one dog and owner. If you have more than one dog, we will confirm the costs with you in advance.
- Evening and weekend walking and dog training will incur an additional charge of 5%.
- Bank Holiday walking and dog training will incur an additional charge of 10%’.
